(Sunday Night)
We definitely had a wild weekend starting Friday night with the severe weather. Then last night we had the snow event impact North and Central Mississippi. Now let's talk about the week ahead.
Starting tonight we will experience some very cold temps. A cold air mass will dominate the overnight temps into the upper 20's and slightly breezy conditions, but Monday won't be much warmer than today. Highs tomorrow will be in the lower 50's. Our trend for the week will be simliar to last week with a warming trend from day 1 to day 7 in my forecast. Stable conditions will dominate my 7Day forecast as we will slowly see a shift in Southerly wind by Wednesday.
Temps look to be in the 70's by the end of the week.. I also actually saw one model showing me 80 degrees on Friday. Take care and thanks for reading! tcade@wdam.com
