Through much of this Friday afternoon, rain in the Pine Belt has consisted of scattered light showers but not widespread rain. Just to our NW, places like the greater Jackson area have already experienced widespread rainfall. So when will we see more widespread rain here? Well right now it looks like our best bet will be the morning hours Saturday. This evening the threat of some scattered showers will continue, but rest easy cause we will not likely see any severe weather tonight. During the day Saturday, I think we will get a break from the rain... but we'll have another shot at some wet stuff late Saturday into Sunday.
