The real weather story comes this weekend...

Overnight tonight and into early Tuesday a weak upper disturbance may spark some isolated light rain in and around the pine belt. By mid week, we should actually see a few really nice days.

However, what I'll be watching for, is a storm system that may bring severe weather to south Mississippi. Still 4+ days away, but it appears that many ingredients are coming together for some strong/severe storms. Come Friday we should have a moist and unstable air mass buildup in the south and a cool front should be not to far behind to help spark some bad weather. On top of that, we may see a stout dryline develop. This would likely be a point of convection as well.

I want reiterate that this system is still days away. Therefor, this is not a guaranteed event at this point. Stay tuned to WDAM and wdam.com for more details.
