Much needed rain after expected after midnight !

Two seperate weather systems will affect our area over the course of the next several days. The first system will arrive later tonight with the best chances for showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Some of the storms could be heavy but I expect the more severe type storms will remain north of our area. Friday and Saturday promises to be nice with sunny skies and pleasant temps. On Sunday, a very potent weather system will approach the state from the west and it will likely be produce several rounds of severe weather for much of our area. Tornadoes, severe thunderstorms and heavy rain are possible with this system Sunday afternoon into Sunday night. Stay abreast to the latest forecast beginning late Saturday! Rex
