Much needed rain in the area overnight !

Finally, some much needed rain fell in portions of our area overnight. We collected .75" in our bucket.Clearing is forecast for today with highs in the lower 70s. Mostly clear skies tonight with lows in the lower 40s. Sunny on Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 70s. A new frontal system will have an impact on our weather beginning Sunday but it looks like the main activity with this system will remain to our north. Although we can't rule out for sure any severe weather in our area on Sunday and Sunday night, it does appear that we will escape the worst of this system. Slightly cooler and drier weather is on tap for most of next week. Have a great weekend ! Rex
