After the weather system that is currently producing clouds and light rain across our area today moves west this afternoon and evening high pressure is expected to rebuild across the deep south and that will bring a halt to our rather wet weather pattern that we have experienced the past two weeks. Rain chances will be pratically zero on Tuesday and slight chances for the rest of the week.
Tropical Storm "Bret" has formed east of Florida and is forecast to track away from the U.S. mainland and will not threaten Mississippi.
