This weekend should be nothing like the past two.

Update Saturday 7:00am- Our frontal boundary has been slow to push through overnight. The possibility of rain/storms in the Pine Belt will exist until about 11:00am...ending from northwest to southeast. Our day should be breezy but nice once the boundary pushes through.

Friday 3:55pm (WDAM) -There's still a chance of rain overnight into Saturday morning. Due to some unstable air to the north of the Pine Belt, I'm looking for the better shot at storms to take place north of I-20. Large hail looks to be possible there. Fortunately for us, the air mass is much more stable down south, so our weather should be less eventful. In fact, many of us may stay dry. The window for the potential rain in the Pine Belt is 1:00am -8:00am Saturday.

Behind it some cooler air should lower our temps by about 10 degrees, making way for a great weather weekend. Happy Mother's Day!
