Much needed rain headed for the area.

Over the next seven days, we will have two seperate weather systems bring a chance for some much needed rain to the Pine Belt. The first, weaker front will bring a 20% chance for showers and possible thunderstorms during the day on Thursday, but those chances will increase to 60% Thursday night and some of storms may be on the heavy side. That system will move through quickly and sunny skies will return for Friday and Saturday. On Monday of next week, a more powerful system will move through the area bringing with it the possibility of severe weather Monday and Monday night followed by much cooler air on Tuesday. Stay tuned ! Rex
