Wet Weather Washes 7Day Forecast

Temperatures are not a big factor in the forecast for this week. Rain is the big weather headline for our work week. As we still enjoy the glorious sunny and dry weather from our friend, high pressure system, we will soon be welcoming in some rainy days ahead. Starting Tuesday night we will see our first line of rain move through, which will last through Wednesday morning, but this system is expected to stall around the coast and provide light rain extending into Thursday. This system on Tuesday looks to bring Severe Weather for the Central Plains and Heavy to Extreme rain totals in East Arkansas and the Memphis Area. By Friday I'm noting a 2nd Low Pressure System (rainy weather) swinging through the Central Plains and dive down into the Leaf River Valley. My long-range forecast shows the 2nd system moving through by Saturday night and leaving behind a clear skies next Sunday/Monday. From Tuesday Night to Saturday Night we could easily see some places in Mississippi totalling over 5 inches of rain.

**I'm going 20% on Tuesday because only a very small amount of our viewers will experience the isolated/scattered showers.
**I'm only going 40% on Saturday because we are still a long 6 Days out from this event, and I'm also noticing a big difference in some forecast computer models.
